Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Math Angel Tutoring. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.mathangeltutoring.com (the "Site") and the tutoring and educational services offered by Math Angel Tutoring LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Site or enrolling in our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Site, booking a consultation, or enrolling a student in any of our programs, you ("you," "the parent," "the guardian," or "the user") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Because our services are provided to minor students, these Terms are entered into by the parent or legal guardian on behalf of the student. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Description of Services

Math Angel Tutoring LLC provides structured, virtual (online) mathematics tutoring and educational support for elementary and middle school students. Our services include, but are not limited to, complimentary diagnostic assessments, a structured multi-week math confidence program, small-group and one-on-one instruction delivered remotely, written progress updates, and end-of-program summary reports.

Enrollment is limited to maintain instructional quality, and acceptance into a program is at our discretion following a consultation and diagnostic review. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.

3. Enrollment, Deposits, and Payments

If a student is accepted into a program, a deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required to reserve the student's spot, with the remaining balance due according to the schedule communicated at enrollment. All fees are quoted and payable in U.S. dollars.

We accept payment through the following methods:

       Stripe — our primary online payment processor for card payments;

       Cash App;

       Zelle; and

       Cash.

When you pay by card, your payment is processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Your use of Stripe, Cash App, or Zelle is subject to the respective provider's own terms of service and privacy policy. Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are non-refundable once a student's spot has been reserved. Specific refund, rescheduling, and cancellation terms will be provided to you at the time of enrollment and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4. Third-Party Services

Our Site and services rely on third-party platforms to operate, including online booking and scheduling tools, video-conferencing software used to deliver virtual sessions, and the payment processors named above. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, content, availability, or practices of any third-party service, and your use of them is at your own risk.

5. Inquiry Forms and Communications

When you submit a consultation request, contact form, or booking through our Site, or otherwise provide your contact information, you consent to be contacted by us by email, phone, or text message regarding your inquiry, your child's enrollment, scheduling, and program-related matters. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us using the details in the "Contact Us" section below.

6. Use of Our Site

You agree to use our Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Site by, any third party. You specifically agree not to:

       Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;

       Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any part of the Site or its underlying systems;

       Use the Site to transmit any harmful code, malware, or unsolicited or unauthorized advertising;

       Impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Company, an employee, another user, or any other person; or

       Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and within our programs — including but not limited to text, lesson materials, assessments, worksheets, progress report formats, graphics, logos, and the "Math Angel Tutoring" name and branding — is the property of Math Angel Tutoring LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Materials provided to enrolled families are licensed for personal, non-commercial educational use by the enrolled student only and may not be redistributed, resold, or used for any commercial purpose.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are designed to support student learning and build confidence in mathematics. However, we do not guarantee any specific academic result, grade, test score, or outcome, as student progress depends on many factors outside our control, including student effort, attendance, and home support. The Site and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Math Angel Tutoring LLC, its owner, instructors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services. In no event shall our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the services exceed the total amount you paid to us for the services giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Math Angel Tutoring LLC, its owner, instructors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our Site with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Site or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Why Math Angel Tutoring?

Math Angel Tutoring was created to provide structured, intentional support for students who need more than occasional homework help.

This is not drop-in tutoring. It is a focused, results-driven experience designed to close learning gaps and create measurable progress over a defined period of time.

Enrollment is intentionally limited to ensure each student receives individualized attention.
